Full Time Unpaid Internship
Department Overview
Opportunity to intern with a small technology team focused on Theatrical Distribution. The department is involved in the standardization, implementation and operations of Digital Cinema, including projection systems, colorimetry, mastering, security, encryption, content management, etc. The team develops and maintains software applications used throughout the Digital Cinema ecosystem and is involved in all aspects of the software lifecycle: design, development, testing and integration.
Intern Responsibilities/Tasks
• Design, develop and test new features and systems to be incorporated into and improve existing applications primarily using the following technologies: Linux, Perl, JavaScript, node.js, HTML, CSS, React, React Native, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS.
• Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new related technologies
• Collaborate with 2-3 team members to identify and implement development projects and solutions.
• Port legacy software to use new technologies
Internship Learning Objectives
• Gain an insight into new technologies, security features and standards that govern the process of packaging and distributing digital content in the film industry.
• Gain experience applying software engineering skills to business needs and requirements.
Qualifications
• Photography, Marketing and Art majors (preferred) but open to anyone with an interest and passion for photography. Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft (Excel, Outlook and Word) and Photoshop.

• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
