Full Time Unpaid Internship
The Engineering Lab Intern will assist the Fox Studio Technology team with evaluating new technologies, testing workflows and helping maintain the general order in our lab. This internship offers a great opportunity for exposure to the operational world of a film studio, including research and development, interacting with production and corporate departments, and seeing the completion of projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Candidate should have a focused interest in one or more of the following categories: Color/Imaging Science, Motion Picture Engineering, Visual Effects, Virtual Reality, Motion Picture Production or Post Production.
• General knowledge of AV concepts such as codecs, aspect ratios and audio formats.
• Experience working with digital media, including: transcoding video, manipulating media in programs like Nuke, Photoshop, etc.
• Knowledge in MatLab or scripting language like Python a plus!
• Familiar with various video and image formats.
• Hard-working, self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Good Communication Skills
• Positive team-player
• Skilled multi-tasker
To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
