Full Time Job
Reporting to the VP of Finance, this position will be tasked with the responsibility of providing support for all financial aspects of Fox First Run Productions. The role requires superior financial analysis, strong organizational skills, and effective communications skills; furthermore, the role requires an individual that can multi-task, with a strong work ethic with the ability to be a quick study and think on their feet.
Responsibilities:
• Oversight of the day-to-day operations of the production accounting team; liaison between production accountants and VP of Finance.
• Act as a key resource to production accountants regarding policies and procedures.
• Reviewing and facilitating monthly production closing cycles.
• Working with Cast and Crew for all new set ups and/or changes to the production accounting systems and workflow.
• Work closely with the VP of Finance with all aspects of reporting deliverables for month-end, quarter-end and year-end. Responsible for the maintenance of MyNet forecast model.
• Responsible for all aspects of month-end reconciliations, including Bank recs.
• Working closely with the VP of Finance in oversight of all A/R activity for the syndication sales of Divorce Court, You Bet Your Life and TMZ/TMZ Live.
• Maintenance of the residual reporting for Divorce Court.
• Manage special projects and ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Other duties assigned as needed and required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with Production Accounting and PSL is strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required.
• Organized, with excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to details.
• Must have flexibility to switch gears and jump between projects.
