JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
• Retrieving documents and records from designated locations throughout multiple legal departments on multiple floors
• Printing e- mails and attachments
• Sorting, organizing, coding, indexing, and scanning legal documents and records
• Maintaining physical filing for assigned practice areas in central file room and offsite storage
• Maintaining electronic filing for assigned practice areas and implemented systems
• Delivering and retrieving files and boxes as requested; maintaining system file location tracking
• Standard data entry, and file and label creation using implemented systems
• Dispatching incoming email requests
• Providing cross-trained support to other records team members as needed
• Supporting special Records Department projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of digital filing and general office experience in a professional environment, or equivalent experience
• Ability to keep confidential and sensitive information confidential and secure
• Standard computer skills, including general proficiency with MS Office Suite products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Experience with records management software and/or relational database systems preferred
• Ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly
• Strong attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills required
• Capable of lifting standard storage boxes up to 25 pounds
• Strong customer service focus required, including a positive attitude and willingness to take on new assignments
• Work diligently with minimal supervision
• Provide thoughtful feedback on systems and tasks
