We are looking for an Office Manager to join our L.A. Bureau. As an Office Manager, you will coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain work schedules
• Track time off for bureau team members
• Submit time cards for hourly employees, staff, and freelancers working in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, and Seattle Bureaus
• Verify and track invoices submitted to the bureaus
• Book staff travel
• Assist in hiring of freelancers
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Greet on-air guests and visitors
• Maintain office supply stock and other office related duties
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Strong organizational skills
• The ability to multi-task
• Friendly demeanor as well as excellent communication, administrative, and computer skills
• Cool under pressure and be able to handle deadlines
• Solid knowledge of current events
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Prior internship or related work experiences in television
