Fox Sports is looking for a Manager of Streaming Operations to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. As the Manager, of Streaming Operations, you will work to oversee all aspects of studio productions including but not limited to live shows, live-to-tape, multi-cam productions, and feature content. When called for, you will direct, technically direct/technically produce the Digital Team's original video podcasts, gambling shows, or other one-off special event coverage. You will work closely with the Associate Manager of Production Operations and the Technical Operations team to keep a detailed schedule of studio shows, equipment allocation, and crew needed per production. You will work across departments to ensure Broadcast Operations is up to speed on what the Digital Team is planning and will coordinate any extra resources that are needed from engineering, studio operations, and external crewing. Additionally, you will keep an active list of freelance camera operators, sound engineers, and production staff to bring on when needed for larger shows or when staff production personnel are unavailable.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct and TD broadcasts with FOX, FS1 and Digital Talent in the studio and in some cases bring in remote talent and switching shows from the lot via Zoom, LiveU, or Cloud based Vmix machines
• Complete execution of live or live-to-tape production
• Coordinate with the Broadcast Team for studio scheduling, engineering needs, and additional personnel requests
• Work with Tech Ops team to develop new and improved workflows for scheduling, staffing, and equipment rental
• Expand a freelance roster of camera operators, engineers, audio engineers, and other critical crew positions
• Identify where improvements can be made in the studio operations workflow to create more efficiency
• Oversee maintenance and technical support of all studio equipment
• Mentor/train junior level staff members – both operationally and editorially
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 4+ years of directing/TD/digital media experience
• Live switcher experience (Tricaster and Vmix preferred)
• High level of understanding of the new and ever-changing video production equipment including Cameras, Lighting, Sound Equipment, and Com Systems
• Experience creating and keeping a detailed production calendar, crew list, and equipment breakdowns
• Strong understanding of production timetables, crew positions, and general equipment knowledge
• Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and scheduling/budgeting software
• Strong verbal and written Communication Skills

• Bachelor's degree
