Freelance Job
FOX Sports is looking for a Freelance Manager of Promo Scheduling & Strategy. As the Manager of Promo Scheduling & Strategy, you will be responsible for executing the on-air marketing strategy on FS1. You are the primary stakeholder responsible for creating the weekly GRP plan and organizing all daily promo functions required to produce the broadcast log. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the weekly/monthly promo reporting database and aids in the tracking of contractual promo requirements for all relevant FOX Sports league partners.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create the weekly GRP plan in the promo optimization software based on the linear promo strategy
• Oversee the scheduling of the primary & alternate broadcast logs on a daily basis and ensure the accurate placement of all promo elements
• Monitor and track the delivery/progress of promotional campaigns; adjust the weekly plan as needed to make certain campaign targets (GRPs, impressions and/or $values) are met
• Maintain contact with the Marketing Operations team to stay informed regarding the delivery and status of all promo materials
• Work with the Commercial Administration team to ensure the on time delivery of network logs, and communicate any changes and make adjustments where necessary
• Manage the on-air log change process
• Execute the scheduling of contractual requirements and/or integrated marketing campaigns
• Reconcile the weekly/monthly promo reporting database
• Stay informed and proactively monitor Programming grids, Sports calendars, Research reports and the requests & delivery of promo elements from Cross Channel partners
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Prior experience utilizing a promo optimization tool to schedule promo logs (ideally GripiT)
• Prior experience with utilizing Programming Grids for a Cable or Broadcast Network
• Strong interest in promotions, advertising and television
• Awareness and interest in a variety of Major League Sports
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task
• Able to manage a heavy workload, especially in the Fall/Winter Sports Season
• Proficient in Excel
