JOB DESCRIPTION
21st Century Fox is searching for an Equity Plan Analyst to support our global stock plan administration team. The position reports to the Senior Director of Global Stock Plans and work closely with the Vice President & Corporate Secretary and Compensation teams to support the equity administration process and systems. Additionally, the individual partners with finance, HR, divisions and program vendors to maintain the functionality, inter-dependencies and data flows of the equity administration system.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of equity plans for U.S. and international participants in over 30 countries
• Provide support in system integrations and conversions. Assist efforts to implement and improve stock plan administration related processes and procedures
• Process routine equity transactions (new awards\vestings\cancellation). Ensure accurate and timely tax withholding and reporting to payroll teams
• Reconcile monthly and quarterly share plan activity and maintain rollward schedules
• Manage pre-clearance population and communicate trading window timing
• Manage and update the SOX process as necessary
• Respond to participant issues, questions and concerns
Specialized Knowledge:
• Experience in regulatory aspects of equity administration
• Functional knowledge of tax and accounting relating to equity compensation, including share-based compensation expense, global tax considerations and SEC disclosures
• Experience with U.S. federal and state\local taxation relating to equity compensation, as well as general knowledge of global taxation of equity compensation
• Knowledge of marketplace trends and best practices, Shareworks experience a plus
Technical Skills:
• Strong background in stock administration systems, compensation, finance, or economics
• Knowledge of SOX internal control over financial reporting
• Proven experience in designing, developing and managing system projects
• Strong knowledge of tax and accounting requirements related to equity and payroll administration
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Office and other database skills. Experience with Workday is a plus
Data Quality:
• Work with data owners across 21st Century Fox to constantly improve data quality and equity administration processes
• Work closely with Finance, Tax and Divisions to coordinate periodic acquisition and divestiture activities for administration
• Assist Sr. Director of Global Stock Plans and VP & Corporate Secretary on special projects as needed
Managerial, communication, and skills:
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to self-audit work to ensure data integrity and accuracy in every situation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work with all executive levels including C-suite
Experience & Education
• 3-5 years' experience of increasing responsibility in equity administration of a global and multi-state organization or consulting firm with similar clients
• Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Operations, and/or Finance is a plus
