FOX News Digital seeks a Coordinator, Digital Operations, to join our team in order to coordinate and provide group support to Digital leadership and manage and execute numerous team-centric, project-based, and/or administrative tasks while exercising a high level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and responsiveness. The ideal applicant works well with stakeholders across the enterprise and has an excellent track record of supporting leaders in a fast-paced environment at a large-scale business or other organization. In this role, you will work closely with Digital's Managing Editors and Deputy Managing Editors, and in the process enable them to focus on their key mission-critical tasks, thereby contributing broadly to Digital's success.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with Digital leaders, Finance, Travel, and Strategic Sourcing to coordinate, optimize, and execute enterprise contracts, subscriptions, and supplies, and ensure the timely payment of invoices
• Support Digital's leadership (Editor in Chief, Managing Editors, and Deputy Managing Editors) with expense reports, ensuring adherence to company guidelines, and scheduling of large-group meetings
• Acquire computer accessories and office supplies for remote team members.
• Maintain contact lists on an ongoing basis for Digital
• Coordinate multi-destination travel arrangements and team member training
• Assist in drafting processes and procedures in support of group goals and objectives
• Assist with onboarding for new team members, and closeout for departing team members
• Book meetings and conferences rooms, manage locker assignments, and coordinate visitor passes with Security
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc administrative duties as needed
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the Digital enterprise, especially as it develops consistent with its staffing plan
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 5 years work experience
• Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Organizational skills and the ability to anticipate team needs
• Ability to handle multiple simultaneous assignments involving a high level of organization and discretion, while keeping strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment; energetic and proactive team player
• Can-do, customer service attitude, and proven team player
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• Ability to quickly and independently problem solve and communicate early
• Interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
