Full Time Job
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the Commercial Negotiations for Sports Business
• Lead on negotiations with key customers to ensure sports legal position on important clauses is preserved and standard frameworks respected.
• Develop market intelligence and relationships and come up with long term strategic initiatives
• Translate strategic objectives into operational plans, execute, track local implementation.
• Deliver superior value by finding the Right Partners and Effective Contracts.
• Build and manage relationships with CEOs and heads of studios – Tamil- domestic and international
• Deliver Partner Satisfaction while ensuring right costs
• Envisage changing market scenarios and anticipate future requirements of content rights for the businesses to stay ahead of market
• Creation and maintenance of rigorous processes around identification of risk, and risk controls
PERFORMANCE MEASURES
• Delivery on commercial KPIs linked to Sports business
QUALIFICATION
• Graduate with min 10-15 years of relevant experience in managing large and complex business functions and negotiation
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Exceptional communication and articulation skills are required.
• Extensive experience in negotiations large, long term deals with vendors, service providers
• Deep understanding of licensing models, evaluation metrics and deal terms
• Must possess an in-depth knowledge of budgeting.
• Balance the creative expectations with the financial resources available
• Have current knowledge of the relevant legislation, regulations, and associated procedures, including copyright, data protection, public liability, etc. and how to comply with regulatory requirements
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
• Ability to handle high value and complex negotiations and deals
• Manage complex relationships with internal and external stake-holders
