The Administrative Coordinator will support the VP News Director and the VP Engineering to handle all administrative tasks for the News and Engineering departments, including but not limited to expenses, employee time off records, and ordering and tracking supplies and equipment. Must effectively communicate with vendors and staff on orders, travel arrangements and various departmental projects, as assigned. Will assist the VP News Director and the VP Engineering with expense forecasting and other reports. Perform other duties as assigned.
Four (4) year college degree preferred. A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience in an office environment. Accounting experience a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills required. The candidate must be proactive when working with staff, vendors, guests and company personnel in the coordination and execution of tasks and projects. The candidate must work well under pressure. Television station experience is strongly preferred. Proficiency with MS Suite, with a high-level of proficiency in MS Excel skills required. Must be able to multi-task and must be detail oriented.
