JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox Sports is seeking a Production Coordinator to provide support and assistance to two Executive Vice Presidents and a Senior Vice President with the planning process of all production remotes and studio operations. The Production Coordinator will be a point person for all events, and will need to identify and provide support for all production needs. This position will play an integral part in planning events that align with the goals set by the producers and our shows. Event coordination responsibilities include helping facilitate, track, and maintain all budgets, organization of all off-site productions, meetings, and talent travel.
Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to three executives, including calendar management, phone coverage (including backup support to other executives in the department), and travel arrangements
• Assist EVP and SVP with planning remote and studio events, seminars and meetings for various sports throughout each season
• Organize production schedules for various sports
• Communicate directly with and coordinate detailed travel arrangements for talent as needed
• Participates in long term organization and planning of major events throughout the calendar; works with production, travel, and finance to coordinate plans
Qualifications
• Four year college degree required
• 1-2 years assistant or internship experience in entertainment, production, or a studio is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and professional phone etiquette
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, skilled at creating professional relationships over the phone, and able to handle stressful situations and various personalities diplomatically
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under daily time constraints
• Professional presence, good judgment and the ability to anticipate needs
• Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives and talent
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
