JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Sports/FS1 interns will have the opportunity to work closely with producers, directors and talent of Studio Shows originating from the FOX facilities in New York City. Interns will learn how a show goes from nothing to what you see on television.
First Things First is a daily studio show on FS1 airing from 6:30-9:30am on weekdays. We are seeking a motivated, sports-minded individual to support our FOX Sports/FS1 studio programming. This internship is an exciting opportunity for a student looking to gain practical work experience in the field of sports television. The intern will develop a detailed understanding of FOX Sports' business structure, core objectives and workforce needs, while working directly with producers and directors for some of our biggest sports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be at least a second-year student in college and interested in Sports and Production
• Interest and knowledge of sports is preferred.
• Working hours of the show staff are very early in the morning and best opportunity for exposure to the business is between 4:30a-10:30a. Internship schedule may offer some flexibility, but it's important for the candidate to be available during live windows of the show.
To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
