JOB DESCRIPTION
This position handles all administrative duties for the FOX Sports Programming Department, including but not limited to travel and expenses, meeting coordination, invoicing for administrative costs (UPS, AT&T, Courier, etc), and ordering supplies. This position also supports four executives.
This role also provides some programming coordinator functions for the FOX Sports Programming Department including generating custom reports and doing research projects needed on a regular basis by internal and external groups.
Responsibilities
• Performs administrative duties for 4 Executives-answers phones, manages complex schedules, coordinates travel, drafts and edits correspondence and official documentation, processes individual expenses.
• Performs office management duties for FOX Sports programming department handling all department staff requests for supplies, administering department invoices, scheduling conference rooms, and generally handling all logistical needs as it relates to office operations.
• Creates and distributes numerous types of program scheduling and analysis reports for sales, finance, operations, marketing, TV listings, etc. Enters programming changes into VPS system. Completes research projects as assigned. Monitors and responds to the departmental mailbox.
Qualifications
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (solid understanding of grammar and syntax).
• Superior people skills, engendering productive relationships with management, colleagues and clients at all organizational levels.
• Solid mathematics and logical reasoning abilities
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and IE required.
• Overall knowledge of cable television and sports broadcasting is preferred. Good organizational skills, proven ability to multi-task and work effectively within time constraints in a dynamic, high-pressure environment is necessary. Must be a self-starter.
