Full Time Job
• Assist with administrative support to the LA and NY publicity departments, coordinate meetings with both teams
• Create and maintain confidential databases and documents, including NY premiere, screen and events lists
• Assistant duties for Senior Vice President, National Publicity:
• manage calendar/calls/meetings, supply supporting materials
• book travel accommodations including car service and coordinating all Searchlight related travel
• Assist and Edit heavy correspondence
• Must have exceptional phone etiquette and professional demeanor
• Will complete and submit expenses once approved
• Compile various reports for department overall including monthly CEO Report, Strategy and Tactics Doc , Critics' Charts, Campaign Highlights, Quote Grids and other Media files
• Coordinate all aspects of screenings and Q&A's and junkets for press, guilds, tastemakers under direction of and in collaboration with ream leadership
• Research and distribute daily press breaks to be sent to the company, respective separate teams and filmmakers
• Organize transportation and logistics for talent at premieres, press events, special screenings
• Book travel and hotel accommodations for talent, filmmakers and Searchlight Executives
• Conduct Online research and outreach to digital publicity outlets, monitor podcasts
• Handle billing/invoicing from all vendors
• On the ground support at all premieres, press events, special screenings
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English or Journalism or related Media field is preferred
• 2 to 4 years minimum experience in a movie studio, agency or publicity firm is required.
• Must be adept at multitasking and organize and prioritize workload effectively.
• Microsoft Office, Basic to Intermediate Excel, Basic Photoshop skills are a plus.
• Ability to work well under time constraints in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Adept as a self-starter and proactive in starting projects, asking questions and taking on departmental projects and tasks as needed.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks working independently and with a team.
• Be able to work flexible hours, including overtime during the week and on weekends, when necessary.
• Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills and be very organized and detail oriented.
• Social Media tools, research and trends knowledge is essential.
