JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox News Channel is looking for a Show Page Producer to work full time with programming in our New York Bureau. If you are someone with a creative nature looking to gain experience in online publishing and new media platforms this role is the perfect fit!
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as a liaison between Fox News Channel shows and FoxNews.com
• Produce and manage the content of FoxNews.com's show sections
• Work with Fox News Channel producers and promotions to write, edit and produce show pages
• Select and encode video segments for FoxNews.com's show sections
• Work with Fox News Channel producers to create new content and ideas for online pages
• Work with Web Video Unit to make video segments available on the Web and create original video content for Web show pages
• Use Photoshop to create images and graphics
• Propose and implement creative ideas to keep site innovative
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Team player spirit with the ability to operate independently when necessary
• Production, show experience
• Familiarity with Web page production and Photoshop required
• Knowledge of digital video production and editing tools preferred
• Background in journalism and/or promotions is preferred
• Interest in current events and attention to detail required
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a dynamic environment
• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing or related field is preferred
