JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox News Channel is seeking a Teleprompter Operator to join our New York Bureau. As a Teleprompter you will transcribe scripts or recordings into readable banners or special screens to prompt on-air talent of talking points. As a Teleprompter Operator you will work on a team to move a show from inception to closing. You have great organizational skills and can effortlessly adjust to the constant changes in a live studio environment.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• You will operate the teleprompter during live events and filming
• You will work with on-air talent with different speech patterns
• Matching the information on the screen with what is occurring on the set
• Ensure the working condition of teleprompter system before on air the program
• Inform computer specialists if any problems found , arrange another system as reserve
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• You are familiar with the dynamics of a live studio environment
• You are willing to work weekends, overnights, early mornings and holidays
• Ability to work in highly distracting settings and under considerable pressure
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
