JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Office Assistant to join our L.A. Bureau. As an Office Assistant, you will coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain work schedules
• Track time off for bureau team members
• Submit time cards for hourly employees, staff and freelancers working in LA, SF, Denver and Seattle Bureaus
• Verify and track invoices submitted to the bureaus
• Book staff travel
• Assist in hiring of freelancers
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Greet on-air guests and visitors
• Maintain office supply stock and other office related duties
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Well organized and able to multi task
• Friendly demeanor as well as excellent communication, administrative, and computer skills
• Cool under pressure and be able to handle deadlines
• Solid knowledge of current events
• Prior internship or related work experiences in television a plus
• Growth potential for the right candidate
