JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox News is looking for a proactive and organized Executive Assistant to provide administrative and project support to the Executive Vice President of Operations. The EVPO leads a team who work together as a high-functioning unit and oversee a wide range of projects. We need someone who is a people person and is able to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all departments at FOX and engage with outside vendors, contractors and consultants. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to multi-task.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage an active calendar of appointments: handle all aspects of business travel and travel agendas, research, prioritize and follow up on incoming issues and concerns; be an active partner with the EVPO to help him run and manage projects
• Organize and attend project meetings-taking notes and distributing them to ensure responsibilities are communicated and understood by all involved
• Build and maintain filing and tracking systems to organize significant amounts of information; handle other sensitive or confidential information
• Work with facilities department to maintain space plans for all Fox News workspaces
• Help facilitate special events and large presentations
• Pitch ideas that will increase the effectiveness and efficiency of day-to-day operations
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• A bachelor's degree and 0-1 years relevant work experience
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Superior time management- ability to prioritize large workloads
• Flexible – takes direction with ease
• Critical thinking - takes initiative – self motivated
• Positive ''Can Do'' Attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office
