Full Time Unpaid Internship
The Business Relationship Management (BRM) department is responsible for communicating to and coordinating with the business, serving as a thought partner helping to identify how technology can enable the execution of business strategy.
Key departmental responsibilities:
• Integrate with business planning process
• Lead and assist in project forecasting and budgeting
• Manage the living business case document for each project
• Socialize innovations and new potential applications to existing solutions developed by Product & Technology (PaT) and Data & Analytics (D&A) groups
• Track customer success and satisfaction
• Drive production adoption
Description of the intern position
BRM is looking for highly motivated individuals who are interested in learning how to foster effective strategic relationships within business and technology environments. The candidate will gain a full understanding of how a Business Relations Management group within a Technology organization operates.
The BRM intern will be responsible to attend meetings with Business Relation Managers and key Business Leaders, take notes on their issues, attend staff meetings to comment on issues that were raised by the business and work directly with the BRM Senior Management team to create supporting analysis documentation and update program plans.
The BRM Intern will work on BRM presentations using PowerPoint, Keynote or other presentation software; collaborate with our communications team to create and coordinate business user communication; and interview business users to gauge the level of user acceptance after a software deployment.
Interns will gain the understanding of how to:
• Analyze and document complex business problems
• Foster effective strategic relationships
• Manage the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) - development, deployment, modification, and maintenance of software - within a large-scale media company
• Effectively manage interpersonal communication and interactions between teams in multiple geographic locations
• Properly interview business users, elicit business requirements and build requirement documentation that will be used by internal and external development teams
• Prepare supporting presentation material
Qualifications
for the position
• Undergraduate or graduate student with degree in the following: communications, media, journalism, sports, or a business degree.
• Interest in technology and processes around technology
• Possess a natural curiosity about how to assess and change processes to make them better

• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
