Part Time Unpaid Internship
In this internship, you will work with DCG's Product Optimization Team to design and implement experimentation processes for generating data-validated learnings that drive our Product, Marketing, and Technology strategies. You will have the opportunity to:
• Define the success metrics for our Experimentation Program and construct data dashboards and reports that distribute this data in digestible ways to facilitate fast, informed decision making amongst our Product Managers, Marketers, and Technologists
• Analyze user behavioral data to derive data-informed hypotheses and present your hypotheses to the team and senior stakeholders
• Work with our Optimization Team's Sr. Product Manager to design and deliver experimentation capabilities across DCG's most strategic websites and apps
• Work with our Optimization Team's Product Optimization Manager to execute experiments and analyze their results; Improve how we share experiment results with the entire organization
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• You will learn from seasoned product managers and data analysts how to use data to improve Product, Marketing and Technology strategy.
• You will get to dive into billions of rows of data aggregated by a wide variety of platforms, including web, mobile and living room devices, such as Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku and more.
• You will learn how the digital video industry works and understand what it takes to excel in product management in this space.
• You'll work in an entrepreneurial environment that moves quickly, is highly collaborative, delivers beautiful apps and is fun!
QUALIFICATIONS
• Motivated self-starter who is detail-oriented, able to work independently and remains calm under pressure
• E?ective management of multiple tasks simultaneously and under time pressure
• Comfortable with public speaking
• Clear communicator with strong writing skills
• Ability to learn quickly
• Diplomacy, ability to work within a team, maturity, strong organizational and follow- through skills, able to handle sensitive and con?dential materials in a professional manner
• Advanced computer literacy, especially with Microsoft O?ce (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Comfortable generating data sets using SQL with various applications of WHERE, GROUP, and PARTITION clauses
• Software development skills are a plus
To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
