Job Description
The Communications team at Fox Sports is looking for an Executive Assistant to support an EVP and two SVPs. Position responsibilities include the following:
Responsibilities
Assist high-level executives in maintaining daily schedules, phones, handling confidential company information, documents and matters requiring executive approval.
Assist in daily operations, including coordinating appointments, scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, expense reports, filing, reviewing correspondence to assist in establishing department priorities and other general administrative duties as needed.
Handle large volume and extensive interactions with co-workers, high-level management, on-air talent and members of the press.
Work cross-functionally across departments as needed to carryout all services.
Working to support the communications team in any areas necessary.
Qualifications
College Degree or 2+ years of assistant experience.
Previous experience in PR, communications, journalism or a related industry is preferred.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required. PowerPoint expert desirable.
Strong organizational and problem solving skills are needed.
Superior attention to detail is necessary.
The ability to multitask and work effectively under daily time constraints and use discretion in managing sensitive communications and business relationships.
Strong interest in the sports and media industries preferred.
Secondary language(s) a plus.
