Full Time Job
The Fox Networks Group Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department is seeking an Analyst to provide general oversight of EHS training and program review, development and implementation; oversee necessary industrial hygiene and environmental monitoring events; and support television production activities by performing audits, inspections, program development, training and summary reporting.
Responsibilities
• Work with affected departments to coordinate, implement and maintain employee injury prevention strategies and program(s). Monitor EHS programs and makes revisions as necessary.
• Provide hazard analysis, program customization, training and EHS support to industrial activities within the organization, as well as creative services and scripted television production activities. Ensure that regular full-time, daily, and freelance employees are aware of hazards and the necessary EHS requirements, and are notified and trained accordingly.
• Support the maintenance of EHS database of accidents and incidents. Includes coordination with supervisors/department heads and employees for accident reports, incident investigations and root cause analyses.
Qualifications/Requirements
• B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent and minimum 2 years health and safety experience, or at least 5 years health and safety experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Must have excellent mathematical skills, and be able to perform algebra, trigonometry, physics, and geometry calculations with accuracy and minimal supervision
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products required
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter, and able to multitask and prioritize effectively under limited supervision
• California driver license and personal vehicle required
• Must be willing and able to travel locally and nationally up to 25%
