Full Time Job
The Creative Services Production team at Fox provides superior production support for corporate meetings, presentations, events, projects, stunts, street teams and high level events, and we're looking for a Senior Manager of Tech Event Production to join the team. You must have strong technical capabilities and proven leadership experience in the audio visual production of corporate events, concerts, theatre or television production and be equally talented and versatile with administrative tasks and on-site production.
Working alongside our Event Producers, you will have the opportunity to plan and execute events as well as manage all aspects of the event's technical production process, including audio/visual production, rigging, transportation/shipping, logistics, partner and asset management, and negotiation. You will be working closely with our clients as well as various departments to flawlessly deliver event programs.

A SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Event Management
• Budget the event from a technical standpoint including but not limited to: pre-show technical management, on-site technical management, on-site labor, audio, video, electric's, scenic rental or construction, prompting, audience response, satellite and video streaming, and shipping
• Hire and oversee of production crews (union and non-union)
• Set -up and operate equipment on certain events
• Attend client or creative driven input sessions
• Ensure all venue drawings are current and correct by dealing; fluent in Vectorworks
• Generate and distribute a working on-site schedule that encompasses time and action
• Implement best practices and processes and maintain documentation to reflect implementation decisions
• Generate and distribute loading dock schedules for the venue and production team
Inventory Management
• Oversee, manage and maintain a working knowledge and status of department inventory at all times for on-site and storage locations
• Prep and ship equipment for events; work closely with shipping companies and truck vendors
• Prepare and manage event and design team Print/Delivery lists
• Maintain department's audio, video, webcast, IT equipment
Payroll and Staffing
• Hire Production Assistants and Freelance Staff
• Ensure all event staff payroll paperwork is accurately completed and processed
On-Site Duties
• Site surveys to determine scope and needs for an event
• On site production oversight including load-in/strike of event
• Coordination of vendor and supplier shipping and receiving
• Stage manage as needed
WHAT WILL YOU NEED
• Minimum 5 years experience in production of corporate events, concerts, theatre or television production in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of video production (video codec, switching, distribution) audio reinforcement for events, video projection, display (plasmas, LED, etc), and a basic knowledge of computer networking
• Experience working with technical crews (union & non-union)
• The ability to multi-task and create solutions in fast-paced, deadline oriented situations with little room for error
• Highly organized team player with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal skills, an even temperament, and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with executives, clients, event staff and production crews
• Proficiency in MSWord, Excel, and CAD software (Vectorworks is a plus)
• Ability to lift, move, and ship equipment and heavy boxes of approximately 50 pounds
• Available to travel and work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Passion for technology trends to assist teams to ensure their knowledge is relevant
• Have an attention to detail and unparalleled organizational skills
