We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Executive Assistant to support our Executive Vice President and Head of Government Relations. You are focused and an applied professional with proven organizational, administrative, and technology skills, who enjoys a demanding, fast-paced work environment.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support executive with complex calendar, travel itineraries and logistics as well as daily phone, email, and technology management
• Employ leadership and communication skills in coordinating senior staff on strategic initiatives and work product deliverables
• Assist the Government Relations team with the successful execution of public-facing events
• Participate in team meetings to gain a firm understanding of department priorities
• Network and build successful relationships with internal and external clientele
• Source, plan and manage all event planning logistics
• Prepare and process expense reports
• Manage multi-line telephones
• Ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred, but not required
• 7+ years of experience in an executive assistant role
• Must be available for a flexible work schedule
• Positive, flexible attitude and strong creative problem-solving skills are a must
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment
• Must demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
• Solid understanding of how social and digital media platforms work
• Expertise in logistic management
• Familiarity with Congressional landscape in Washington D.C.
• Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
• Comfort with technology: MAC and PC; mobile software; Microsoft Office Suite
