Full Time Job
Our Distribution team is looking for an Assistant to join the team to support our Senior Vice President and Vice President of Distribution in all assistant level duties including answering all incoming calls, updating work schedules and calendars. You will be maintaining and updating client contact info, records, files and agreements. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our Distribution executives and take a look at the behind the scenes of the business side of entertainment.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support our Distribution executives with answering all inbound phone calls, maintaining work calendar, including scheduling all local, remote and virtual meetings (includes providing meeting reminders)
• Help process and complete contract renewals forms, subscriber launch forms, and update monthly subscriber/finance tracking files as needed
• Distribute and track tickets, premiums, mailers, notices, correspondences and order office supplies
• Cover for other assistants in our department as needed
• Support and assist the regional field distribution team as needed on distribution, marketing and operations projects
• Support and assist with requested changes to the affiliate website (e.g. FNI)
• Coordinate all travels plans, complete and submit expense reports
• Work on ad hoc projects as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• College graduate preferred
• 1-2 years of sales and/or marketing experience preferred, with a background in video or media content distribution preferred; some finance background and/or experience is also preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as good interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Explorer
• Must be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency
• Eager to learn our Fox specific or web-based applications, such as Medea, Workflow, Salesforce, Custom Show
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities and daily time constraints
