Full Time Job
We are looking for a Distribution Assistant to support the Executive Vice President of Advanced Services in the Fox Corp Distribution division and provide back-up support to the President of Fox Corp Distribution. You will be providing executive administrative support to free executives to focus on increasing distribution and revenue. This role provides opportunity to learn about emerging technologies in media and entertainment and you are expected to remain current on digital entertainment technologies. Additional duties include assisting with research and actively participating in department meetings.
A SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Executive support - discretionary calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reports, answering phones and responding to inquiries, freeing executives to focus on increasing distribution and revenue
• Coordinate appointments, conference calls, meetings and special events internally and externally and order food and beverage as needed
• Administrative support - fax support, mail, filing and copying, compose routine correspondence, spreadsheet applications, process invoices, distribute legal documents
• Department support - handle special project requests and assist Advanced Services team as needed
• Plan and manage special events as requested including venue coordination, client travel and budget approval
• Research digital entertainment technologies, review Fox's online content and enter video metadata into database
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• College degree and 1-2 years administrative experience, preferably in the cable or entertainment industry
• Proficiency using Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all staff levels including C-Level executives
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to problem solve and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Must exhibit a high level of professionalism
