Agency representing elite photographers seeks a full charge accountant/business manager to provide support to executive team.
Responsibilities
• Fully versed in bookkeeping knowledge and concepts
• Generate highly detailed invoices
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Bank reconciliations and monthly cash flow reports
• Journal entry posting
• Financial statement preparation
• Payroll
• Monthly Auditing
• Track and monitor budget spending
• Quarterly Sales Tax Return
• Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
• Manage complex office administrative work requiring the use of independent judgment and initiative
• Correspondence with vendors
• Correspondence with clients
• Maintain office functionality
• Vendor acquisition/oversight as needed
• Assist Owner and all staff with side projects as needed
Qualifications
• 5+ years in supervisory role with complete control of books, banking, budgeting, and reporting
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in accounting or equivalent work experience
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required
• Experience in commercial photo industry a plus
• 2 years of experience in administrative support functions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat
• Keen eye for details
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly
• Ability to quickly shift gears without losing focus
• Sense of urgency without compromising quality of work
• Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills (in person, on the phone and via email)
• Self-starter, manage assignments and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Take initiative in completing assignments, solving problems, and seeking a solution
• Personable and able to work effectively in both a collaborative and independent environment
• Demonstrate support for the team through enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Small & medium business experience
• Diverse industry experience
• Well developed work ethic
• Proven ability to remain confidential
