High Level Job Description:
Under supervision of Head of PR, this full-time role will be responsible for the performance and success of publicity activities for FlyteVu Agency and Client programs. The ideal candidate will be able to conceptualize campaigns strategically, lead effectively and strengthen client relationships by ensuring overall campaign success.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• Responsible for leading pitch efforts for all assigned campaigns
• Cultivate and maintain key relationships with trade & consumer reporters within the entertainment, travel, lifestyle, tech, and music categories
• Have solid database of high-level media contacts and continuously builds new relationships on a local, regional, and national level
• Ability to successfully and strategically pitch local, regional, and national press
• Draft and manage press materials and assets including, but not limited to: press releases, media alerts, bios, boiler plates, case studies
• Manage the execution of media partnerships and corresponding campaign budgets
• Assist in PR team and intern management
• Communicate & present plans, ideas, and solutions to Clients
• Participate in and lead PR brainstorms for new client onboarding
• Responsible for day-to-day success of Client programs
• Manage PR deliverables for Talent including securing and staffing interviews, drafting brand talking points, working with third party agencies
• Must be able to effectively communicate internally and externally in a manner consistent with the company's Code of Conduct and core values
• Responsible for providing timely client solutions, recommendations, and updates across all teams
• Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information on behalf of clients and company
o Assist with on-site activation and fulfillment of client programs, including but limited to: red carpets, media days, press conferences, events, and activations, which require that employee:
o Must be able to travel without restriction
o Must pass a background check
• Must be able and willing to work during non-business hours as needed or required to fulfill job requirements
