Publicity Specific Description:
Work directly with PR team to create campaign strategy, timelines, press plans and outlines, and media suggestions for ongoing campaigns
Work within established budget to secure, execute and coordinate key PR and Media programs. Prepare and submit project budgets for all publicity and media buys.
Draft press materials needed for campaigns
Research new media opportunities daily to gain understanding of the changing press landscape
Work onsite client events locally, regionally, and nationally
Secure and manage photographers, videographers, and any further PR partners for all press campaign initiatives
Cultivate and maintain key relationships with publicists, managers, agents within the industry
Work side by side with internal account managers to execute client campaigns
Manage red carpets: securing on-site media at carpets, organizing talent arrivals, walking talent down carpets, securing interviews
Manage talent contracts and schedules as needed
Help manage and lead a growing team and department
Agency General:
Contribute to the Creative Strategy for each Client program, activation and/or platform. Research, pursue and contribute creative ideas, new opportunities, and campaign strategies during Team Brainstorms.
Cultivate and maintain key relationships with FlyteVu accounts, agency partners, 3rd parties, vendors, media outlets, and other partners as needed to execute campaigns and create new opportunities for FlyteVu clients.
Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information.
Must be able to effectively communicate internally and/or externally in a manner consistent with the company's Code of Conduct and core values.
Must be able to come to work on time without restriction as to time commitment.
Must be able to travel when needed.

Required Competencies/Skills:
Preferred minimum 3-5 years of experience in public relations, specialized in entertainment and brands
Experience using Cision and ability to learn new systems
Strong communication skills internally and externally
Ability to client face and manage expectations and deliverables
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to raise questions and concerns internally
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and deadlines accordingly
Self-motivated
Ability to build relationships with editors across all mediums
Excellent time management skills
Works well under pressure
Creative thinking
Excellent writing skills
Special Requirements/Preferences:
Entertainment, Music or Agency experience preferred
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Communications preferred
