Job Description Summary:
The future of the entertainment industry will not be based on views or box office sales, but by which studios build the best creative, ongoing relationships directly with their audiences.
The Social Coordinator role is a key position at FBE to help accomplish that goal. Candidates should be a superfan of all things internet, and YouTube especially. They should know how to quickly and efficiently hit deadlines. They should be proactive and ready to push the limit of social media. They know the latest memes and trends, and can delicately walk the line of comedy and cringe in their tweets. They will be responsible for authentically communicating with the audience through the development of social content, live chat during streams, and directly responding to our community through all prominent social media channels.
The ideal candidate is a positive, outgoing, proactive, friendly human, who loves engaging and building relationships with viewers from all over the world. This position helps serve as the community's direct ambassador at FBE, acting as their advocate to help foster a more meaningful and valuable connection with our brand, while increasing support and awareness for new initiatives important to our growth.
This position is a full-time role and reports directly to the Community Manager position at FBE.
Primary Responsibilities:
Actively develop social content during the day to day shoots
Track daily shoots and work with teams in order to grab social photos or video
Work with manager to implement social posts on our channels.
Actively moderate and participate in live stream chats.
Pitch & develop new social media programming initiatives.
Grow our social followings by tracking KPIs and optimizing creative.
Manage real-time social listening and reactive engagement efforts.
Lead direct personal engagement efforts with our community.
Assist with weekly newsletters & CRM tools to improve audience communication.
Increase awareness for new initiatives through effective cross-platform promotion.
Assist with physical merchandise fulfilment workflows as needed.
Lead efforts to reward and celebrate dedicated community leaders and long-time fans.
Provide ongoing thought leadership based on latest insights from social trends.
Requirements:
Strong awareness of YouTube & internet culture, memes, vernacular, pop culture etc.
Extremely proficient across a variety of social platforms from both the creator & viewer's perspective (specifically YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Discord, Twitch, Reddit etc.), with specific knowledge to what variables can affect content's performance.
General awareness and knowledge of each platform's analytics tools and best practices.
Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem solving skills.
Strong social content development skills.
Strong copywriting and creative development skills, with intuition for creating compelling and entertaining content.
Proactive, independent, and maintains a tenacious work ethic.
Strong administrative skills and familiarity with all G Suite Applications.
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring all deadlines are met appropriately.
Active and passionate about social business; demonstrates an eagerness to learn and share best practices, new trends, and major developments in the social space.
Enthusiasm for and willingness to grow in all facets of community management, including brand management and marketing, social care, content strategy, content creation, and analytics.
Ability to rapidly assess, analyze, and resolve complicated issues independently, even with little initial information.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations (or related field).
Flexibility in schedule and willing to work nights/weekends when necessary.
This position requires a passion for digital entertainment and social media, deep attention to detail, excellent time management, and a true personal ownership in the programming and projects you're bringing to life. We are looking for someone with a strong entrepreneurial sense, who knows how to create highly engaged content and develop meaningful relationships with our audiences across all social platforms.
