FBE is looking for a bright and motivated Manager of Talent Development to foster and grow our large pool of talent across all FBE brands, including our globally popular React franchise. In this role, you will be tasked with the recruitment and management of new and existing talent of all ages and backgrounds. The ideal candidate is well connected in the digital media and entertainment industry and has extensive experience discovering both non-traditional personalities and rising social influencers alike.
Our current pool of talent consists of 200+ cast members from all walks of life and ages ranging from toddlers to senior citizens. We focus on finding unique and authentic perspectives with big personalities and interesting commentary.
This is a full time role reporting to the Head of Production, works Monday through Friday in our Burbank offices. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO/sick leave and most national holidays paid off.
Manage and support our existing pool of 200+ cast members for the React brand and other FBE programming
Actively research, outreach, and cast new talent in current and development programming on an ongoing basis
Consistently discover new talent and know the key players in the influencer space
Actively work with celebrity talent stakeholders and reps to enhance FBE's productions
Provide talent leadership in executing high-profile influencer marketing campaigns
Build, maintain and execute best practices for talent policies including onboarding, outreach, and management
Maintain an active relationship and deep understanding of each cast member; be capable of compiling talent lists for different creative, marketing campaigns or business development opportunities as needed
Be the expert of our talent database and ensure all data is organized, accurate, and up to date
Assist production teams in coordinating and scheduling talent as necessary
Get talent excited about promoting FBE content by working with the Post Production team on gathering launch deliverables and distributing to talent and/or their representatives
Attend industry events and talent meetings outside of normal work hours
Prior experience in casting, development or production is required; casting, talent management or agency experience is ideal
Passion for the entertainment industry and discovering talent is a must
Strong attention to detail and highly organized; especially with regards to the needs of such a large talent pool, and the high volume of projects and deadlines across company
Great enthusiasm for building relationships and communicating gracefully
Positive attitude, outstanding demeanor and ability to thrive under pressure and enjoy working in fast paced environment
Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide range of personality types
A knowledge of or a passion for FBE's content
Skilled with Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
Awareness of YouTube and internet culture, memes, vernacular, etc.
