Part Time Unpaid Internship
FilmNation Entertainment, an independent entertainment company focused on the sales representation of international film rights, as well as the development, production, and financing of feature films, television series and podcasts, is seeking legal interns for a Spring 2022 internship.
This internship experience is intended to advance and expand interns' education by providing them with training in drafting, problem solving, negotiation and legal research and analysis. Under the supervision of the Business & Legal Affairs team, interns will be exposed to various facets of international, entertainment and intellectual property law, will undertake a semester long research project, and will participate in regular seminars with the FilmNation staff.
This internship is part time and unpaid. Candidates must be eligible to receive academic credit.
Who you are:
• A current student enrolled in an accredited law school or legal internship program
• 2L or 3L students preferred
• Strong and confident communication and writing skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive, self-starting attitude
• Passion for Film and the Entertainment Industry
Internship Duration: SPRING PROGRAM: January - April/May 2022
Individuals who can commit to two or three working full days remotely per week are preferred. (Intern Hours range Monday through Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm ET. Please note that all hours and dates can be flexible.)
