Reports To: HR & Operations Manager
Status: Regular, Full-time, Non-exempt
Department: Operations
Location: West Los Angeles, CA
Position Summary:
The Receptionist/Office Assistant performs all functions related to receiving calls, greeting clients, vendors, and deliveries at the main reception area, as well as providing administrative support to the operations department.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet clients and visitors in a timely and friendly manner
Manage conference room and guest parking schedule
Manage ordering and supplies for office items such as snacks, drinks, water, FedEx, etc.
Handle all incoming and outgoing mail
Answer incoming calls for both Film 44 and Film 45 and address as necessary
Maintain and clean, organized and welcoming reception area
Works on special projects for various Film 45 projects as needed
Education and Work Experience:
Previous entertainment industry experience preferred (internships ok)
Bachelor's degree preferred
Core Competencies:
Must be confident in greeting guests and create a warm, welcoming environment.
Strong skills in organization and multitasking
Self-starter
Maintains confidentiality
Communication skills are important, as this position works with all departments of the company
People person, able to make all guests feel welcome and comfortable
Must have professional phone etiquette
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Keynote, Numbers, Pages, and Google Apps
Hours are 8:45am to 6:30pm, Monday - Friday.
