Responsibilities:
• Directly manage facilities-related issues across multiple offices in Los Angeles
• Manage a team of two to four production assistants.
• Space plan for upcoming productions and moves.
• Manage HVAC, key card/security system, keys and other building-related items.
• Serves as day-to-day liaison to building staff responsible for the day-to-day experience of employees
• Building processes for preventative maintenance, safety, strategic planning, and operations that allow us to scale efficiently
• Manage locations repair and maintenance requests
• Manage all capital improvements, TI, office/employee moves and much more
• Purchase furniture and manage movement, storage of furniture
• Own and negotiate facilities contracts with vendors that support repair and maintenance
• Responsible for existing vendor relationship management including recruitment of new vendors
• Ensure facility repairs are high quality, cost effective and performed in accordance with our safety and brand standard
Requirements:
• 3+ years' experience in building management and/or maintenance is required
• Management experience is preferred
• Experience building processes and systems that scale effectively
• Experience at a rapidly-growing company a must
• Experience working with external vendors and contractors
• Technical working knowledge of building systems and trades
• Must be ''hands-on'' and maintain a sense of urgency
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, verbal and written
• Ability to think strategically while executing at a detailed level
• Must be able to respond to after hour emergencies and work overtime
