Part-Time/Full Time Administrative Assistants
FerenComm, an established PR agency specializing in media/entertainment, seeks full and part time candidates to join its New York based team in an administrative role.
Ideal candidate would be an engaged, passionate self-starter with solid interpersonal skills who is obsessed with television content on all platforms. Candidate must also be detail-oriented, organized, professional at all times and demonstrate a love of the written word.
Our seasoned team of publicists leverage every possible medium - print, electronic and digital media - as well as influencer and red carpet premiere events - to amplify critically acclaimed projects from our top tier client roster.
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
-Support administratively as needed, including database updates, drafting call agendas and call notes.
-Managing office reception desk including answering phones/directing calls, greeting visitors, ordering supplies, working with vendors regarding equipment servicing and messenger deliveries.
-Daily media monitoring, and compiling coverage reports and clips. Manage tracking coverage of fast breaking news in real time and future stories in which clients are mentioned.
-Maintain Client files.
-Research, compile press kits, build and update targeted media lists.
-Assist in mailings and supporting events.
-Research and prepare reports on topics ranging from industry trends to backgrounders on talent in front of and behind the camera.
-Manage agency's competitive and hiatus calendars to highlight upcoming premieres and track talk show/podcast opportunities.
-Support in drafting and distributing written materials including, but not limited to, tune-ins, fact sheets, clip books and more.
-Creation of weekly database reports for staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, G Suite and social media platforms
-Recent Communication, Journalism, English, Marketing, and PR graduates preferred
-At least 1 year of related writing and communications experience internship or more.
-First-rate written and verbal communication skills a must.
-Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, employees, clients, and high profile external parties.
-Ability to work well with a variety of personalities and work styles.
-Excellent attention to detail and organization.
-Possess the ability to prioritize and manage competing requests.
-Self-starter who can work independently and under pressure.
-Maintain strict confidentiality standards.
-Minimum commitment of 3 days/week.
