Job Description:
Maintain and terminate all types of broadcast cables, i.e.; SMPTE fiber, triax, coax, audio (DT-12), single mode fiber, and others as required.
Perform minor maintenance on mobile unit equipment, i.e.; monitors, headsets, etc.
Provide support on all cable and construction projects for new and/or upgraded mobile units.
Perform preventative maintenance on all mobile units as required.
Install and repack rental equipment as needed.
Assist in set up and strike of expandable mobile units for maintenance.
Manage and maintain all F&F cable inventory on mobile units and in the shop.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience in the television broadcast industry.
Solid understanding of broadcast wire and connectors with excellent integration skills.
Ability to work independently and responsibly in a busy environment.
Aptitude to operate forklift safely, load and unload freight as required.
Must have a valid driver license and safe driving record (driving history will be checked).
Ability to lift heavy items, extensive bending/reaching, good eyesight and hearing, and manual dexterity (including fine motor skills).
