Eyeline Studios is seeking an experienced and innovative Volumetric Capture Supervisor to lead our volumetric capture operations at our cutting-edge Korean stage. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in volumetric capture technologies and workflows, strong leadership skills, and a passion for advancing the boundaries of virtual production.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the planning, setup, calibration, and operation of volumetric capture systems on stage.
• Supervise a team of volumetric capture technicians, camera operators, and data wranglers.
• Collaborate closely with directors, VFX supervisors, and production teams to ensure capture requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high-quality data capture throughout production.
• Manage data workflows, including storage, transfer, and quality control of captured assets.
• Coordinate with post-production teams to ensure seamless integration of volumetric assets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in volumetric capture.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and studio policies.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in volumetric capture, motion capture, or related virtual production environments.
• Strong understanding of camera systems, lighting, 3D capture technologies and photogrammetry.
• Familiarity with volumetric capture software (e.g., Reality Capture, Metashape, Gaussian Splats, or similar).
• Experience managing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required by production schedules.
• Fluency in both English and Korean.
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Computer Graphics, Engineering, or related field. (Preferred)
• Experience working on international productions or in multicultural environments. (Preferred)
• Passion for innovation in digital media and storytelling. (Preferred)
