As a Software Engineer II focused on front-end engineering at ESPN, you will help build and maintain complex web applications that are enjoyed by fans across the globe.
You'll be a member of the diverse team that builds ESPN.com, which delivers the world's best content to millions of sports fans. You will work with modern server-side and web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to deliver scalable, elegant solutions for new features and core site architecture.

Responsibilities
• Build templates and modules that are used by millions of fans
• Develop and enhance core site functionality using server-side templating and JavaScript
• Implement best practices to continually increase performance and scalability
• Work with product and project management to refine specs and timelines
• Partner with other engineering teams to deliver best solutions
Basic Qualifications
• Proven understanding of front-end web development technologies and principles
• Knowledge of JavaScript, JS frameworks, and server-side templating
• Experience with task automation (Grunt, Gulp, WebPack) and CSS Preprocessors (Less, Sass) a plus
• Driven and self motivated
• 1-4 years relevant industry experience
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or its equivalent.
