Job Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Account Management is responsible for hiring, training, completing and facilitating performance reviews and leading digital client service initiatives in support of National Sale and our advertising agency clients. Manager will work very closely with agencies, Sales, Ad Production, Accounting and site teams along with the rest of the Business operations management team to reach our goal of providing leading customer service to our clients and ensuring efficient processes across all of the internal teams we work with in executing our digital ad sales campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Manages Account Managers across various offices
• Interview Account manager candidates, maintain candidate tracking spreadsheet, and make candidate recommendations to Director
• Solicit ongoing feedback from sales teams and other internal departments about team performance
• Complete and facilitate reviews (both mid-year and year-end) with Sales Operations Analyst and Account managers
• Balance departmental workload by managing the allocation of Account manager resources to specific account teams
• Oversee and continue to develop training program for all Account managers
• Facilitate career development and growth opportunities for Account managers
• Consistently demonstrates leadership competencies
• Thinks strategically and looks for ways to improve the process of providing best in class service
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years of related advertising industry and sales support experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience managing teams
Preferred Qualifications:
• Has basic understanding of ESPN's sales, selling processes and systems
• Campaign management subject matter expertise and basic competence in sales program administration and implementation
• Proven leadership skills
Required Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's Degree
