Full Time Job
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for, but not limited to, the ingest, dubbing and distribution of all video melts for College Football and College Basketball
• Acts as a liaison with outside networks to exchange melt video (incoming and outgoing)
• Professional representative of the Media Assets Department to outside networks and college conferences
• Interacts with the internal production teams to determine video priorities and future requests
• Inputs all melt tapes into the video tape library system
• Organizes copies of melts for Production groups to access
• Tracking/transferring all digital copies of games internally, keeping an accurate and timely grid of completed and outstanding requests for the week
Basic Qualifications:
• Has the ability to execute in a high demanding and stressful environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with processes and procedures of a Television Production department
• Prior internship experience in a Television Production department or involvement with campus TV station
• Has above average sports knowledge, particularly in Division I College Football and College Basketball
• Has familiarity with server based media and/or non-linear editing equipment
• Comfortable working with different file formats and transfer systems
• Highly motivated self-starter, able to work without direct supervision
• Able to work flexible hours - including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
Required Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's Degree
