Job Summary:
The Project-Lead Preditor CreativeWorks, Social & Digital Branded Content position will function to ensure our Advertising partners have access to world class branded content production that drives the highest level of collaboration and development with their brand and relationship with ESPN. This position will assist in the physical creation and curation of custom content across ESPN social and digital media platforms for ad partners in concert with ESPN Content teams. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to develop and create unique and compelling branded content that will thrive in the mobile/social environment and drive revenue. This role will require collaboration with Sales, Disney BrandConnect and Sports Brand Solutions. This is a proactive & reactive role. Those applying should have the ability to think strategically and plan for an upcoming season based on trends and social marketplace knowledge as well as react to last-minute advertising partner requests. Speed to market is critical in an ever-evolving real-time space. Interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with all groups across the ESPN organization are crucial to succeeding in this role. Experience at content production studios or at social/branded content advertising agencies a plus.
This is a 12 month project position.
Responsibilities:
• Manage pre and post production of exciting and shareable, social and digital videos.
• Work closely with our Sales and BrandConnect teams or direct client to ensure the brand's needs are met through clear and open communication.
• Weigh in on cost and feasibility of video pitches during the RFP phase.
• Work with production team to confirm budget and identify resources.
• Work on tight deadlines across multiple teams to deliver work that exceeds expectations every time.
• Create and adhere to pre and post production timelines.
• Is able to identify and differentiate successful content for social and digital platforms.
• Ensure that the ESPN brand voice and aesthetic is maintained in all branded video efforts.
• Work with talent and management teams to craft treatments.
• Travel to shoots and: interview talent, direct as needed, and lead production on set.
• Analyze social media trends to continually enhance best practices.
• Deliver content with a consistent ESPN brand voice and tone across emerging platforms with the ability to integrate ad partners based on brand objectives and guidelines.
• Ability to edit photos and video content.
• Knowledge of current viral video trends.
• Gathers all assets for assigned productions; researchers and prepares ideas for future projects.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of four years of experience working in an advertising and media environment with social content creation responsibilities.
• Advanced knowledge of current sports, including teams, players, storylines, and forward-facing media personnel.
• Possesses a thorough understanding of edit room techniques and working knowledge of the social / non-linear editing process.
• Proficient in video production and post production.
• Skilled in social media comprehension and execution across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and juggle multiple tasks during a typical work day.
• Ability to work independently on assigned projects as well as receive and provide creative direction.
• Ability to think creatively and adapt content solutions to Sales needs.
• Ability to check and proof content for grammar, spelling, clarity and impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Expertise with Adobe CS (Premier, AE, Photoshop) and original content creation for social/digital, including physical production of both video and photography.
• Experience navigating collaboration between internal stakeholders (editorial, sales) and external clients.

• High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communication arts, journalism or new media, or equivalent combination of education experience
