Job Summary:
The Event Marketing team is responsible for Client Hospitality programs, Fan Experience events, the procurement and distribution of tickets and the management of Premiums and Merchandise for the company. This Project - Events Coordinator position will provide entry-level support to the Ticket Operations and Special Events Hospitality teams.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and fulfillment of ticket requests throughout all business units of ESPN.
• Organizes and tracks incoming ticket requests.
• Assist Executive Assistants and Department Liaisons in understanding the ticket fulfillment process.
• Assist in tracking and reporting ticket use and expense.
• Builds and maintains relationships with third-party resources such as ticket vendors, leagues, conferences, etc.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and branded gifts.
• Coordinate all printed material and branded collateral for onsite execution.
• Coordinate hotel rooming lists and event guest lists.
• Track flights and/or arrival departures for guests/staff/talent.
• Work with department liaisons to ensure all guest information is accurate.
• Process invoices and track money spent.
• Manage shipping and receiving of event collateral.
• Produce executive briefing book that is distributed electronically prior to each program.
• Manage the development of the event registration website and app.
Basic Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent social media awareness and strategy.
• Outstanding administrative and office knowledge.
• Ability to use CONCUR or an eagerness to learn.
• Superior writing and business communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to keep items confidential.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Multilingual.
• Related Event and/or Ticketing experience.
• Flexible and adjusts to changing environments.
• Can keep up with fast paced onsite execution.
• Professional and diplomatic in dealing with both internal and external personalities.
• Strong professional and personal ethics as well as exhibit a professional demeanor.
• Understanding of ESPN brands.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
