Part Time Job
Job Summary:
The part-time Digital Show Production Coordinator will assist in the day-to-day operation of personnel management, logistics and financial planning of an editorial group assigned to digital. This position will work on the Social and Digital Video Content team.
Responsibilities:
• Works in conjunction with Production leaders to assist with management of external workforce (personnel scheduling; hours tracking; etc.).
• Responsible for training new hires on ESPN processes and procedures.
• Assist in booking studio space and coordinate production needs for remote events.
• Coordination of travel and press credentials for producers on digital video show team.
• Supports production seminars and coordination of general presentations and meetings for production personnel.
• Manages the technical, logistical, financial and administrative aspects of productions in assigned areas.
• Works with various entities to ensure assigned productions meet established network creative and technical specifications, business objectives and financial goals.
• Work is reviewed from a short-to-mid-term perspective and against defined objectives, budgets and schedules.
• Responsible for dealing with time-sensitive materials and decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
• Has a minimum of 2 years of video production and/or operations experience.
• Possesses basic understanding of the production of studio shows, remote events, and/or packaged shows.
• Must possess strong communication skills with ability to interact with a variety of internal and external parties at different levels.
• Must possess strong organizational skills (i.e. budgeting time and prioritizing workload, accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, ability to implement systematic processes and organize information flow).
• Takes initiative in suggesting ideas and solutions to problems that arise or before they occur.
• Can react quickly under pressure to a wide variety of sensitive production situations that arise and are subject to continual change.
• Required to be flexible and readily accessible working non-traditional days/hours. Traveling for productions (domestic and international) may be required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Wants to have FUN!
Preferred Qualifications:
• Has knowledge and background of producing content specificallyin the social space.
• Has prior experience in the operational and logistical aspects of production planning and management (resource scheduling; distribution of schedules and production information; travel management; invoice processing; budgeting; etc.).
Required Education
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
