Job Summary:
The Associate Producer contributes to and supports the creative development and production of ''Ariel Helwani's MMA Show.'' This role is specifically tasked with technical and creative support of the show, including managing video and audio feeds, guest appearances via various connections and appropriately using all technology, data and social media to drive content and production.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with all technical needs of the podcast and livestream to ensure the best fan experience.
• Assist with preparation for the show with content suggestions
• Works seamlessly with a wide range of production personnel across all platforms to ensure material reaches fans efficiently and accurately.
• Operates with mastery in the digital and podcasting environment, maximizing data gathering tools and social media outlets.
• Researches MMA information and utilizes information resources in support of content creation and to ensure accuracy.
• Actively maximizes cross-platform potential of all content
Basic Qualifications:
• Has and applies considerable experience in the conduct of several complex processes and procedures carried out in content production
• Has strong broadly based knowledge of current and historical MMA storylines and athletes.
• Has and applies strong knowledge of what story ideas and concepts to use for show and interviews.
• A minimum of 2 years of digital/podcasting production experience.
Required Education
• High School Diploma
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's degree in communication, broadcasting, journalism or related field.
