Operations Coordinator I
Job Summary:
In this role, the Part Time Coordinator I uses professional background and practical experience to coordinate the tracking and processing of financial and scheduling information important to ESPN Mobile Unit Operations. This individual is expected to acquire working knowledge of all phases of departmental operations through orientation and observation; familiarizes self with basic duties of departmental personnel and performs functions of Mobile Unit personnel during vacations or at other times required.
This is a part time role; 29 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Provide daily support to Mobile Unit Operations management in Bristol.
• Process and track invoices managed by the Mobile Unit Operations team related to Mobile Production trucks, Generators, Graphics Systems, and Shipping.
• Assist in the creation and distribution of the weekly ESPN Global Mobile Unit schedule.
• Prepare and distribute reports as assigned by management.
• Track usages and expenditures related to Mobile Unit Operations bookings.
• Receive and process invoices.
• Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of technical equipment and systems.
• Balance day-to-day workload, along with handling issues and challenges associated with a live television environment.
• Receive and handle communications after hours and on weekends as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
• Typically, applicant has at least one (1) year of related operations and/or practical experience in Remote Broadcasting.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, including voice and email communication.
• Has computer experience, with proficiency in Windows-based PC applications. Heavy use of Microsoft Excel and Smartsheets.
• Willingness and ability to work after hours and/or weekends if necessary.
Required Education
• High School Diploma
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's Degree or Technical School degree in communications, broadcasting, or related field
