Job Summary:
The Marketing Assistant will have a hybrid role with dual responsibilities comprised of marketing coordinator functions and administrative functions.
We seek an ambitious, passionate marketing professional for whom no task is too small or too large. Candidate should be a go-getter-resourceful, energetic, responsible, reliable, willing to learn, and an excellent listener. The employee will take pride in the executive administrative function, and thrive in the development of sponsorship and advertising concepts.
Responsibilities:
• Administrative Responsibilities:
• Support the Vice President(s) and team
• Schedule/calendar management
• Phone answering/messages
• Travel coordination
• Expense report submission and tracking
• Office supplies/materials
• Liaison with facilities to assist onboarding new employees, office needs
• Meeting needs (meals, A/V requirements)
• Handle cell phone/tablet upgrade needs at appropriate times
• Marketing Coordinator Functions:
• Support the assigned team(s)
• Prepare meeting agendas
• Distribute post-meeting notes with clear follow-ups
• Update team project status documents
• Organize cross-department meetings and updates
• Have deep knowledge of sports within sportfolio to inform strategies
• Provide input into sales and marketing work flows
Basic Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Outlook suite of services (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google applications
• Passion for sports, advertising, media, technology
• Excellent communication skills, ability to be proactive and anticipate needs of the group
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing/communications
