ESPN is seeking a dynamic professional to help define, execute and bring to market our ad product vision. You will be part of the Global Data team, reporting to the Senior Director, Data Platform Product, responsible for product management across our Digital Data Products. As Director, Data Platform Product you will focus on creating a world-class identity infrastructure and data products that will enable advertising innovation and drive ad premiums. Working across proprietary and industry-standard datasets, you will be responsible for testing and scaling products that delight our fans and clients. You will sit on the forefront of innovation and monetization, building cutting-edge products that demonstrate the strength of our data, the breadth of our innovation – and help us consult with our clients more effectively.
Responsibilities
• Lead Data Platform Product roadmap strategy across new and emerging product lines.
• Develop new ways to utilize ESPN and Disney's vast array of user-level data to enhance our targeting and analytics products
• Collaborate with Disney, ESPN technology & product and outside vendors to design, execute and test our own Identity Graph for Cross-device targeting with a high degree of accuracy and scale
• Lead a team of data-focused Product Managers and the broader teams' collaboration on one standardized roadmap with an engineering team focused on data engineering, data science and activation of data
• Lead the expansion of ad capabilities into new arenas such as Over the Top (OTT) livestreaming, working closely with product, engineering and operations integration teams to ensure the our ads infrastructure supports it
• Work closely with Sales Enablement to innovate new ad products either through building, partnering with vendors or packaging current capabilities in new ways to bring to the market.
• Expected to have a passion for problem-solving, confidence in explaining complex problems & solutions in a distilled way, and the ability to work with a large degree of independence.
Basic Qualifications
• Must have minimum 10 years previous experience in product management, product marketing, ad technology, digital marketing and/or consulting in a related field.
• Must have experience with data, including data products such as Data Management Platforms or Data Matching Partners. (e.g.: Datalogix, LiveRamp, BlueKai, Adobe, Experian, Facebook, etc.) and ad tech systems
• Experience managing product teams
• Ideally will have have experience with big data systems and strategies. Including: big data storage & architecture, real-time data delivery, profile management, taxonomy management and big data analytics (simple correlation and/or modeling).
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience managing a large product team with multiple engineering constituents.

• Bachelor's Degree
