Job Summary:
Affiliate Partnership Development and Operations develops and supports the distribution of products and services that create value for The Walt Disney Company, our partners, and our fans. As part of the Affiliate Sales and Marketing Department, Affiliate Partnership Development and Operations provides product strategy, product implementation, project management, content delivery execution, event management, contract management, and contract compliance on behalf of Disney and ESPN Media Networks for both linear and digital products and across existing and emerging global distribution partners.
The Business Analyst, Affiliate Partnership Development will lead multiple projects simultaneously related to product launches across the Disney, ABC, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, and ESPN networks. This person will support the collection and utilization of data that will power key corporate initiatives for both live linear and VOD content across set-top-box, mobile, PC and other digital platforms. This person will be responsible for identifying contractual obligations, creating a project roadmap, leading technical integration calls, tracking project status, troubleshooting issues and managing all project communication with various teams across The Walt Disney Company and externally with our distribution partners and vendors.
Responsibilities:
• Support measurement implementation process for scheduled product rollouts and updates, create technical requirements, obtain signoff, manage risks, and document and communicate new and changed processes.
• Work across teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess business requirements for analytics and reporting, and determine the best data sources, tools and technology to fulfill requirements.
• Assist in developing data taxonomy, metadata standards and data workflows from internal and external data sets.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define, implement, test and support functional analytics requirements.
• Play an active role in supporting content distribution negotiations with distribution partners.
• Communicate regularly and effectively within the larger Affiliate Partnership Development & Operations team, Affiliate Sales and Marketing, other internal company stakeholders, distribution partners, and vendors.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with linear and/or digital analytics implementations or reporting.
• Working knowledge of Nielsen, Comscore, and/or Adobe Analytics.
• Understanding of the competitive landscape and current media industry trends.
• Experience managing projects, including demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities and work effectively with colleagues in diverse departments and geographic locations.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
• Proficiency managing documentation in Confluence, Microsoft Teams, or similar collaboration program.
Required Education
• High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
