Job Summary:
The US Hispanic Sales group maintains client planning/buying relationships within the United States. They are responsible for creating effective Media and Marketing campaigns for clients across all of ESPN's platforms. Not only does the Multimedia Sales team create advertising campaigns for some of the most popular sports today, but they are also responsible for bringing these Marketing concepts to life. The Account Services Executive acts as the project manager providing specialized sales support to the Multimedia Account Executives. This role reports to the Multimedia Senior Director. The ASE will work on all aspects of the sales process from prospecting through post-campaign analysis. The ASE will coordinate efforts across all departments within Sales and Marketing including Sports Marketing, Research, Sales Communication and Revenue Management. An individual capable of managing personalities, willing to work hard and has a love for sales will thrive in this Multimedia Sales role.
Responsibilities:
• Working with the team to serve as a project manager for multimedia client projects; responsible for initiating project roadmaps, a deliverable next step check list, and coordination with client service marketing group for final presentation creation to ensure deadlines are met and expectations managed internally and externally.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on single medium RFP's, meeting preparation, or new business pitches
• Serve as a point person with the various marketing and production groups for all pre-sale activity and proposals
• Responsible for the creation, distribution and implementation of the deal point letter to all sales team members
• Coordinate with research for all proposals, new business pitches, agency and client request and upcoming meetings
• For larger programs, facilitate the completion of the post campaign wrap up presentation
• Work with Account Executives to strategize on new business pitches
• Read the trades, keep up on marketing and media trends, client and agency reviews
• Prepare competitive analysis and tracking for client list across all mediums
• Responsible for the stewardship of deals post sale to ensure sponsorships are running smoothly
• Serve as an internal point person for all marketing and sales materials
• Serve as a liaison to asset management, sports management, on-air management
• Assist Sr. Director of Sales with updating of financial reporting documents
• Some domestic travel may be required
Basic Qualifications:
• 3 years working in media or related industry
• Strategic and creative thinker
• Strong organizational skills and confidence to serve as the project leader
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Strong relationship building and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the advertising industry and the ESPN organization and structure
• Multicultural experience
• Experience in the field of sports
• Understanding of brand media and marketing concepts
• Knowledge of all ESPN networks
• Negotiation, presentation, and writing skills; ability to communicate effectively and to initiate projects
• Fluency in Spanish and English preferred
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree
